Firm Profile

The firm of ChoyAssociates was established in 1947 by Eugene Kinn Choy. For over 60 years, the firm has provided quality architectural service to both private and public clients. The diverse projects have included commercial/retail and public buildings, financial institutions, restoration and rehabilitation of historic buildings, museum and exhibition designs, interior architecture, and many projects.

Mr. Barton Choy, AIA serves as Officer in charge of Design and provides over 30 years of experience and leadership in architectural design. He is joined by Mr. E. J. Parrish, AIA, who serves as Officer in charge of Business. Mr Parrish contributes over 40 years of architectural experience and expertise.

Our firm is committed to providing client service, addressing each client's requirements, including the program, scope, budget, schedule, and technical requirements with the greatest dedication. This commitment is carried out through imaginative and innovative design, technical expertise and strong project management. The firm employs six individuals, three of whom are registered architects. Our firm size assures a close architect-client relationship, resulting in effective communication and team effort. Barton Choy will personally be in charge of the design for all projects.

All projects are conceptualized, developed and documented with the most current computer technology, providing documentation that effectively communicates to both the client and the contractor.
